BREAKING: STIPE MIOCIC OUT OF UFC FIGHT NIGHT 76 CO-MAIN EVENT AGAINST BEN ROTHWELL

MMAOddsBreaker.com can now officially confirm UFC Heavyweight Stipe Miocic has been forced out of his upcoming UFC Fight Night 76 bout against Ben Rothwell because of an unspecified training accident. Both top 10 fighters were scheduled to throw down in the co-main occasion of next Saturday’s (October 24, 2015) event in Dublin, Ireland, that will be headlined by the lightweight battle between Joseph Duffy and Dustin Poirier and will be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass. Miocic (#3 ranked HW) was coming off the most remarkable performance of his career, a fifth round TKO stoppage of former title challenger Mark Hunt where he place a UFC heavyweight record for most strikes landed at one fight. He has won four of his last five fights with his only loss being a competitive decision against former winner Junior dos Santos. Rothwell (#7 ranked HW) is currently riding a three-fight win series which comprised surprising first round upset stoppage victories over both Matt Mitrione and Alistair Overeem. There has been no word yet regarding if Rothwell is going to probably be forced off the battle card entirely or whether UFC matchmakers will have the ability to find a last minute replacement for Miocic.
