UFC 231 Holloway vs Ortega: Odds, Picks, and Predictions

This weekend from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, we’ve got the opportunity to witness not one but two UFC domain fights that have been in the making for quite some time.
In the co-main event, for Bantamweight title challenger Valentina Shevchenko squares off opposite former multiple time Strawweight women’s winner, Joanna Jedrzyczyk for the brand new and empty women’s 125 pound Flyweight domain strap.
Both of these girls have a friendly competition that dates back to their amateur fighting days at the European Muay Thai Championships. Valentina managed to come out on top every battle, albeit with much more experience each time and she is the bigger fighter.
More on the size difference later.
The main event may include the most anticipated fight of 2018! I understand that the declaration, however, think about it. Minus Conor vs Khabib, there isn’t a fight I was hyped for than this one all year.
Jon Jones’s return is going to definitely, be pretty amazing but this is actually the second time both of these men have gone through a full fight camp in preparation for their struggle. The first time around, Max Holloway was hauled out of the competition at the last minute by the athletic commission for weight cutting issues.
Many fans and media are still speculating as to what’d Max sounding so punchy and slurred in interviews past that possible first fight w Ortega back on July 4th of this year.
